WILDFOLK is committed to making our website usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to browse our collection, read about our characters, and shop with ease, regardless of ability or assistive technology used.
1. Our Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more user-friendly for everyone.
2. Measures We've Taken
Steps we have taken to support accessibility on this Site include:
- Descriptive alternative text on product images so screen readers can convey what each character looks like;
- Semantic HTML structure and heading hierarchy to support navigation by screen reader and keyboard;
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background throughout the Site;
- Labeled form fields and interactive controls (search, cart, wishlist, reviews) for assistive technology;
- A responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes, zoom levels, and orientations.
3. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Site may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include third-party components — such as the Stripe-hosted checkout page — whose accessibility is managed by that provider rather than by us. We are actively working to identify and address other gaps as we find them.
4. Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this Site. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if any part of the Site does not work well with the assistive technology you use, please let us know:
- Email: wildfolktoy@gmail.com
Please include the web page and a description of the issue, and we will do our best to identify and fix it or offer an alternative way to complete what you were trying to do.
5. Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We periodically review the Site and update this statement as improvements are made.
